Real Estate Finance Associate - Loan Servicing and Asset Management

Job Overview A law firm seeks a mid-level associate to join the loan servicing and asset management team within the Real Estate Finance group in Chicago, IL. The ideal candidate will have a strong academic background, law firm or clerking experience, and excellent research, writing, and communication skills. Duties Manage loan servicing consent transactions and loan modifications. Handle loan workouts and sales. Engage in asset management matters. Collaborate with team members to support national practice growth. Requirements 3+ years of broad real estate finance experience. Experience with CMBS, CRE CLOs, and other securitized products preferred. Ability to navigate complex subject matter effectively. Education Juris Doctor (JD) degree. Certifications Active bar admission in the jurisdiction of practice. Skills Strong research and writing abilities. Excellent communication skills. Team-oriented with ambition and drive.
