Location: Chicago, New York Opportunity EY-Parthenon’s strategy and execution team’s Deal Management – Financial Services practice works on complex global transactions in the financial services sector. You will prepare and execute separation and integration plans, identify value‑enhancement ideas and advise on risk mitigation, change of operations, functions and people. Development through a broad scope of engagements, mentoring and formal learning is available. Key Responsibilities Serve as a vital team member supporting and executing operational focused projects. Assist with the execution of projects that develop transaction strategies for the client service team. Develop experience across a range of engagements, including pre‑ and post‑deal phases. Skills and Attributes for Success Project Management – participate in project teams across the Strategy and Transactions sub‑service lines. Business‑driven – work in a fast‑paced environment with strong commercial acumen. Business Development – assist in pursuits, proposal development, and practice‑development initiatives. Learning – pursue structured learning, coaching and experiences to develop technical and personal skills. Building Relationships – cultivate strong relationships with clients and key decision makers. Required Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, Engineering, Computer Science, or Analytics and at least 2 years of related work experience; or a graduate degree and approximately 18 months of related experience. MBA preferred. Experience in a consulting environment working with financial services clients (banking, capital markets, asset management, insurance). Excellent analytical skills and confidence to translate complex data into insights. Strong quantitative and qualitative analysis aptitude. Strong prioritization, adaptation, negotiation and influencing skills. Resident or commutable to the office location. Willingness to travel and work beyond standard hours when needed. Preferred Qualifications Experience in a mergers or acquisitions transactions role. Experience within a large professional services organization. Knowledge of firm‑approved AI tools (e.g., Microsoft Copilot). Established networking skills in a relevant industry. What We Offer Competitive base salary range: $130,000 to $185,000, with performance‑based rewards. Medical and dental coverage, pension and 401(k) plans, and paid time off.
