Telecommunications Engineer

Seeking a skilled Telecommunications Engineer for a remote contract position, who will manage the design and installation of equipment for transmitting broadband data over in-building networks, requiring 5-7 years of hands-on experience. Key responsibilities: Design and install equipment for broadband data transmission in in-building networks Coordinate the installation of new in-building networks and evaluate multi-tenant buildings for network compatibility Manage large build projects involving broadband services and produce technical as-built documentation Required qualifications: Bachelor's degree or equivalent field experience General knowledge of in-building network architectures and hazard identification Hands-on experience with coax, twisted pair copper, and fiber optic cabling Ability to transport tools and equipment using a personal vehicle Experience working off ladders and drilling in multiple dwelling/commercial buildings
