Reporter/MMJ

KDVR/FOX31 and KWGN/CW2 Denver are seeking an experienced Multimedia Journalist/Reporter to join their team. The ideal candidate will fight for the lead story, bring great story ideas to the meetings, cultivate sources, and win stories every day across all platforms. They must have strong storytelling skills, an energetic and creative delivery, and be enterprising and passionate about news. Experience with breaking news and live shots is required, along with the ability to multitask and dig deep into a variety of topics for compelling, promotable reports with high production value. Responsibilities Pitch unique stories that will get results and drive ratings. Develop and execute enterprise content on a consistent basis. Cover breaking news with a sense of urgency. Establish and maintain relationships and sources in the community. Produce content for the website and digital channels. Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications College degree in Journalism, Communications, Broadcasting, or equivalent experience. Minimum 4 years of experience as a journalist, with at least 3 years as an MMJ. Strong accuracy and problem-solving skills. Ability to work a flexible schedule, including mornings, holidays, weekends, and on‑call shifts. Ability to work under deadlines and multitask. Experience with MMJ reporting. Salary and Benefits Salary Range: $70,000 to $80,000 based on experience. Medical, dental, vision, and life insurance. 401(k) retirement plan.
