• Position Type: Contract
• Contract Duration: 3 months
• Pay Rate: $75.00 / Hour (USD)
• Shift / Schedule: 12-hour variable shifts, Sunday to Saturday coverage. Shift options include:

- 0630-1900 - 0630-1900 with on-call from [start]-2200 - 1030-2300 with on-call from 2300-0700 - Weekend/Holiday On-Call: 0700-1900 and 1900-0700

• On-Call Requirements: Yes - estimated 70-90 hours per 6-week period
• Guaranteed Hours: Facility is able to call off once per two-week pay period
• Travel Requirements: Local candidates accepted (within 50-mile radius)
• Work Authorization: Applicants must be authorized to work for ANY employer in the U.S. We are unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of an employment Visa at this time.

Job Summary

This is a Registered Nurse - Operating Room contract position at an Acute Care Hospital in Apple Valley, CA. The role is a 12-hour variable position with Sunday-to-Saturday coverage, requiring availability for a variety of day and evening shifts as well as on-call obligations. The position is open to local candidates within a 50-mile radius.

Required Skills

• Minimum 2 years of experience required (3 years preferred, with experience in surgical procedures as outlined in the unit description)
• BCLS certification required
• Availability for on-call as required (estimated 70-90 hours per 6-week period)
• Weekend availability as required
• Must not be a first-time traveler - unit does not accept first-timers
• RTO requests must be included at time of submission
• Block schedule subject to manager discretion

Preferred Skills

• ACLS certification preferred
• 3 years of experience with surgical procedures as outlined in unit description

Education Requirements

• Active RN License required
• BCLS (Basic Cardiac Life Support) certification required
• ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) certification preferred
• Pending license not accepted
