Qualifications & Desired Experience:

• Associate’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology Assisting or equivalent required
• Valid SLPA certification for the state of Texas
• Previous experience in a school setting or with pediatric populations preferred
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to adapt to diverse student needs and varying caseloads
• Organized, self-motivated, and eager to collaborate with supervising SLPs and school staff

Responsibilities:

• Provide direct speech-language therapy services under the supervision of a licensed SLP
• Support individualized education plans (IEPs) for students in elementary and middle school
• Assist with developing materials and activities tailored to student goals
• Document student progress and maintain accurate records
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to promote student success
• Participate in regular staff meetings and professional development opportunities
