Safety Specialist - plant level

Job Title: Environmental, Health and Safety (EHS) Engineer 3 days ago Be among the first 25 applicants Newly created position! Must have at least two years of plant safety experience with industrial manufacturing operations along with a bachelor’s degree in safety or related technical field from an accredited institution. This position will be part of the EHS Department, reports to the EHS Manager and supports an 800 employee plant. Member of a 5 person EHS department and reports to the plant EHS Manager. This role will work closely with facility supervisors and support them through training in areas of investigations (identify root cause, make recommendations) and behavioral training related to human performance safety issues. Focus on safety prevention versus reaction. This is a fast‑paced and challenging production facility due to the complexity of their operations. Outstanding career growth into other EHS leadership roles within larger facilities or corporate and divisional locations. Key Requirements At least two years of plant safety experience with industrial manufacturing operations. Bachelor’s degree in safety or a related technical field.
