Senior C# / SQL Developer Consultant (Charles River)

Our client is seeking a Senior C# / SQL Developer to join their team. This individual will play a key role in developing, supporting, and enhancing business-critical applications. The ideal candidate will bring strong technical expertise and a collaborative mindset. This is a hybrid position based in New York City, NY.

Starting at $100/hour.

Senior C# / SQL Developer Consultant's Responsibilities and Duties:

• Design, develop, test, and maintain applications using C#, SQL Server, and PowerShell/Python.
• Leverage AI-assisted development tools, including Claude Code or similar platforms, to improve development efficiency and code quality.
• Develop and support web-based applications utilizing Vue.js or comparable JavaScript frameworks.
• Troubleshoot production issues, perform root cause analysis, and implement long-term solutions.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders, portfolio management teams, and technology groups to gather requirements and deliver solutions.

Senior C# / SQL Developer Consultant's Qualifications and Skills:

• At least 7 years of software development experience with strong expertise in C# and SQL Server.
• Hands-on experience with PowerShell and/or Python scripting.
• Experience utilizing AI-powered development tools such as Claude Code, GitHub Copilot, or similar solutions.
• Experience developing front-end applications using Vue.js or other modern JavaScript frameworks.
• Background supporting and maintaining production applications in a business-critical environment.
• Experience within Asset Management, with Fixed Income domain knowledge strongly preferred.
