Job Responsibilities

• Perform thorough patient assessments, which include physical examinations and in-depth medical history evaluations
• Assist in the evaluation and diagnosis of surgical conditions by analyzing imaging studies and lab results
• Work collaboratively with surgeons in the formulation and execution of personalized surgical treatment strategies
• Provide hands-on support during surgeries, including preparing operating rooms, ensuring appropriate patient positioning, and assisting with surgical instruments
• Deliver outstanding pre- and post-surgical care encompassing medication management, wound care, discharge planning, and patient education

Qualifications

• Master's degree from a recognized Physician Assistant program
• Completion of clinical rotations with a strong emphasis on surgical practices is highly preferred

Certifications

• Active and unrestricted PA-C certification
• BLS and ACLS certifications required
• State licensure (or eligibility) as a Physician Assistant
