Job Description

• Perform thorough patient evaluations, including detailed physical exams and comprehensive reviews of medical histories
• Assist in diagnosing surgical conditions through careful interpretation of diagnostic imaging and lab results
• Collaborate closely with surgeons to develop and implement tailored surgical treatment plans for each patient
• Provide integral intraoperative support, from preparing surgical environments to ensuring proper patient positioning and instrument transfers during procedures
• Offer exemplary pre- and post-operative care, administering medications, managing wounds, facilitating discharge planning, and educating patients

Education

• Master's degree from an accredited Physician Assistant program
• Completion of clinical rotations emphasizing surgical focus is highly preferred

Certifications

• Valid and unrestricted PA-C certification
• Mandatory BLS and ACLS certification
• State licensure (or eligibility) as a Physician Assistant
