Structural Engineer

We are looking for a Structural Engineer to join a growing team in Philadelphia, supporting the design, analysis, and rehabilitation of building structures across commercial, institutional, and mixed-use projects. Key Responsibilities Perform structural analysis and design for steel, concrete, masonry, and timber structures Prepare calculations, drawings, and technical reports in line with project requirements Conduct site visits, field investigations, and structural assessments of existing buildings Support renovation, adaptive reuse, and rehabilitation projects Collaborate with architects, contractors, and internal teams to deliver projects efficiently Assist in construction administration, including shop drawing reviews and site observations Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering (Master’s preferred) EIT required; P.E. license or progression toward licensure preferred 3–8+ years of experience in structural design or existing buildings Proficiency in structural design software (e.g., ETABS, SAP2000, RAM, Revit) Strong understanding of applicable codes (IBC, ASCE 7, ACI, AISC) Preferred Experience with existing buildings, restoration, or building envelope systems Exposure to forensic investigations or condition assessments Strong communication skills with the ability to engage with clients and project teams #J-18808-Ljbffr Metric Geo
