Structural Engineer

We're partnering with a well-established structural engineering consultancy in New York City that is continuing to grow its buildings team. They are looking to hire a Structural Project Engineer (EIT) who is eager to work on a diverse portfolio of building projects while developing both technical expertise and project management responsibilities. This is an excellent opportunity for an engineer with 3-6 years of structural design experience who enjoys solving complex engineering challenges and wants exposure to projects from concept through construction. What You’ll Be Doing Perform structural analysis, design, and detailing for a wide range of building projects using current building codes Prepare structural calculations, technical reports, and construction documents Develop drawings within a BIM/Revit environment Coordinate with architects, contractors, and multidisciplinary engineering teams throughout project delivery Review contractor submittals and provide construction phase support Assist with project scheduling, budgets, change orders, and overall project coordination Conduct occasional site visits and field investigations as required What You’ll Bring Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering (Master’s degree preferred) 3-6 years of structural engineering experience within a consulting environment Engineer-in-Training (EIT) certification or actively working toward PE licensure Experience designing building structures using steel, concrete, masonry, and other common structural materials Proficiency with structural analysis and design software Experience using Revit or other BIM software Strong technical writing, communication, and coordination skills Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines Why Join Work on a diverse mix of new construction and building projects throughout the New York market Collaborative team environment with experienced structural engineers and mentors Opportunity to develop project management skills alongside technical design experience Clear pathway toward PE licensure and long-term career progression #J-18808-Ljbffr Conrad Consulting
