Description
  • Assess patients in both inpatient and outpatient contexts while crafting tailored treatment plans
  • Deliver physical therapy interventions that prioritize mobility, strength, balance, and functionality
  • Work alongside nurses, physicians, case managers, and other rehabilitation professionals to ensure optimal outcomes
  • Guide patients and families in understanding therapeutic objectives, discharge strategies, and exercises for home
  • Thoroughly document evaluations, treatments, and progress in compliance with institutional and regulatory standards
  • Engage in care team rounds and interdisciplinary discussions to support coordinated treatment
Education
  • Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) or an equivalent degree from an accredited institution
Certifications
  • State licensure as a Physical Therapist
  • CPR certification is preferred
  • Specialized certifications (e.g., neurological, geriatric) are beneficial but not mandatory
Skills
  • Prior experience is highly favored
  • Aptitude for treating patients with complex medical and mobility challenges
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
  • Familiarity with digital charting and clinical documentation systems is preferable
