These positions require patience, compassion, and a desire to care for the residents in a gentle and empathetic manner.Responsibilities include: supervising the care/services provided by Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) and other staff, coordinating the nursing care of residents on the unit, assuring all assigned staff provide appropriate care, providing safe and accurate medication related interventions to residents, accurately transcribing and coordinating the implementation of physician orders, conducting assessments of the residents and notifying the physician of changes in status and promptly implementing and documenting new orders, developing a plan of care based on assessment, implementing nursing care, selecting and instituting appropriate nursing interventions that might be required to stabilize a resident's condition and/or prevent complications, and contributing to the residents' assessment and the development of a care plan.At SanStone Health & Rehabilitation, we offer employment opportunities in NC that are filled with purpose.
