Performs responsibilities independently and without supervision except as needed during orientation or training. Responsibilities Delivery of respiratory therapy modalities and assessment to patients of all ages in critical care, NICU, and Labor & Delivery units. Conduct respiratory assessments and provide individualized therapy plans. Perform interventions and treatments independently, following unit policies and procedures. Qualifications Education: Graduate of a CoARC‑approved Respiratory Therapist program. Experience: One (1) year in acute/critical care respiratory therapy. Technical Skills: Demonstrated knowledge and skills to provide age‑appropriate care/service on the assigned unit/department, following department policies and procedures. License/Certification: Registered Respiratory Therapist credential (National Board of Respiratory Care); current Nevada Practitioner of Respiratory Care License; Nevada Blood Gas Technologist (minimum); Basic Life Support (BLS); Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS); and the following to be obtained within 90 days if applicable: Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) and/or Neonatal Resuscitative Provider (NRP). Other: Ability to demonstrate the knowledge and skills necessary to provide care/service appropriate to patient age on the assigned unit/department.
