Daycare Assistant Teacher

Job Overview Join our talented team of early childhood educators at Eager Explorers Daycare, located within SPORTIME Schenectady. This position focuses on play‑based learning, child development, and a nurturing classroom environment. Responsibilities Follow licensing guidelines and company standards to ensure the daily care of every child. Maintain a fun, interactive, clean, and organized classroom. Collaborate with the lead teacher and director to provide a quality learning experience. Observe, assess, and plan for children, and communicate effectively with families. Complete extensive training on child-care and child-development topics. Qualifications Energetic, dependable, passionate individuals age 18 or older. High school diploma or equivalent. Ability to meet state/accreditation educational and experience requirements. Readiness to work indoors or outdoors, engaging in physical activity with children. At least 1 year experience working with children. Ability to pass a background check. Compensation & Schedule Pay: $19.00 per hour. Part‑time schedule.
