We are seeking experienced Residential New Construction Painters to join our production team. We offer consistent full-time work, competitive pay, overtime opportunities, company transportation, and benefits.

Painters may work independently, alongside another painter, or as part of a larger crew depending on production needs.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare residential surfaces and apply paint using brushes and rollers.
• Maintain clean lines, consistent coverage, and quality workmanship.
• Protect floors, windows, cabinets, fixtures, and other finished surfaces.
• Identify and correct paint defects and surface imperfections.
• Perform touch-up, punch, and final correction work.
• Complete paint work for homes approaching homeowner pre-settlement inspections.
• Maintain clean and organized work areas.
• Safely operate and care for painting tools and equipment.
• Work independently or effectively as part of a painting crew.
• Follow company safety procedures and jobsite requirements.

Qualifications

• Previous painting experience required.
• Residential new construction painting experience strongly preferred.
• Proficiency using standard paint brushes and rollers.
• Knowledge of basic surface preparation and paint application.
• Ability to produce clean, consistent coverage and correct defects.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Reliable attendance and communication.
• Strong attention to quality, cleanliness, and safety.
• Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record required.

Additional Skills That Are a Plus

Experience with any of the following is valued but not required:

• Gas or electric airless paint sprayers
• Residential spray application
• Staining and finishing oak handrails or stair treads
• Minor drywall patching, point-up, and sanding
• Homeowner pre-settlement touch-up and punch work

Physical Requirements

Must be able to stand for extended periods, bend, kneel, reach, climb, work overhead, use ladders, carry paint and equipment, perform surface preparation and sanding, and complete repetitive painting tasks.

Company Vehicle & Travel

Depending on the schedule, employees may drive a company-provided take-home vehicle or travel with other painters in a company van.

Company fuel and maintenance cards are provided. Required travel between assigned jobsites is paid.

The workday begins upon arrival at the first assigned jobsite. If the drive home from the final jobsite exceeds one hour, one hour of drive time is compensated.

Service Area

Projects may be located throughout Northern Virginia, the DMV region, West Virginia Panhandle, Baltimore-area Maryland, and South Central Pennsylvania.
