Civil Litigation Attorney

Job Overview A law firm seeks a Civil Litigation Attorney in the Atlanta Metropolitan Area to manage high-stakes commercial disputes. This role involves significant client interaction and autonomy, contributing to the firm's business litigation practice. Duties Manage a diverse caseload of civil litigation matters, including personal injury and contract disputes. Conduct thorough legal research and analysis to support case strategies. Represent clients in court hearings, trials, mediations, and arbitrations. Prepare and draft legal documents such as complaints and motions. Advise clients on legal rights and provide strategic guidance. Utilize expertise in civilian warrant applications for relevant matters. Collaborate with attorneys, paralegals, and support staff for comprehensive representation. Stay current with developments in civil litigation and warrant applications. Requirements J.D. from an accredited law school. Admission to the Georgia Bar and in good standing. Minimum of 5 years in criminal prosecution with experience in civilian warrant applications. Strong judgment and organizational skills. Ability to balance legal strategy with client business objectives. Strong analytical and research skills. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Proficiency in legal document drafting and case management. Ability to handle a high caseload and work under pressure. Strong courtroom presence and negotiation skills. High ethical standards and professional integrity. Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills. Ability to work both independently and collaboratively. Education J.D. from an accredited law school. Certifications Admission to the Georgia Bar. Skills Experience in handling civil litigation matters. Proven track record of success in trial settings. Confident communicator with strong executive presence. Broad knowledge of civil law and procedure. Demonstrated ability to build and maintain strong client relationships.
