Position Summary

The 10-week internship program at Bristol Myers Squibb’s growing state of the art Biologics campus in Devens, MA is the ultimate career experience!

The program includes formal and informal networking, development, and mentorship of participants with a focus on building and advancing professional skills in the BioPharma industry.

This internship is a site-focused Supply Chain position supporting the Cell Therapy Facility (CTF) at the BMS-Devens campus. The intern will work alongside the CTF Supply Chain team to evaluate current-state material storage and movement processes, from material receipt through delivery to end users, to help the site achieve higher storage capacity and optimal throughput as CTF aligns with new automated technologies in supply chain and manufacturing. Specific areas of focus include:

Cell Therapy Facility (CTF) – Supply Chain

• Evaluating current-state material storage and movement requirements, from receipt through delivery to end users within CTF, to enable higher storage capacity and optimal throughput aligned with automated supply chain and manufacturing technologies
• Defining storage capacity and requirements for the materials used throughout CTF
• Building hands-on skills in capacity analysis, material flow and usage, cell therapy processing, and internal material logistics

This project will be defined with key deliverables and provide the candidate with opportunities to develop new skills and work directly on key aspects of the business. Example deliverables include a current-state assessment of CTF material storage and movement, a documented capacity and requirements analysis for CTF materials, and recommendations to support the facility's alignment with automated supply chain and manufacturing technologies.

This full-time ten-week internship program will take place June through August of 2027. Please ensure that you can support a full-time work schedule (40 hours per week, 5 days per week M-F) for this position.

Key Responsibilities Examples of Key Responsibilities:

• Evaluate current-state material storage and movement within the Cell Therapy Facility, mapping material flow from receipt through delivery to end users
• Define storage capacity and requirements for the materials used throughout CTF, and identify gaps between current and needed capacity
• Collect, organize, and analyze material usage and throughput data using tools such as Excel, Power BI, and/or SAP to support capacity and process recommendations
• Partner cross-functionally with Supply Chain, Manufacturing, and Facilities teams to understand current material logistics and align on future-state requirements
• Support efforts to align CTF storage and material movement with new automated technologies being deployed in supply chain and manufacturing
• Document findings and present recommendations and proposed process improvements to project stakeholders

Qualifications & Experience

• Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's (third-year or above) or Master's program in Supply Chain, Life Sciences, Engineering or related field
• Interest and passion for BioPharma and biotechnology
• Experience or coursework in data mining and analytics, such as AI-based tools, Power BI, and/or Excel
• Familiarity with ERP systems, SAP preferred, and exposure to project management or other proven organizational methods
• Strong communication skills, with experience working in a highly collaborative environment and the ability to work effectively in a team
• Strong analytical skills as demonstrated through previous experience, which may include project design coursework, research projects, laboratory or manufacturing experience, and/or previous co-ops/internships; candidates seeking to learn more about cell therapy manufacturing, supply chain operations, or manufacturing support roles are encouraged to apply

Compensation Overview:

Pay for this internship/co‑op position is provided in accordance with local market practices and applicable laws. Pay may be offered as an hourly rate and/or monthly stipend, or other locally compliant structure. Pay is determined based on objective factors such as academic level, relevant experience, skills, and work location.

Interns and co‑op participants may be eligible for limited benefits depending on program structure, work location, and local requirements. Eligibility and offerings are governed by applicable policies and employment regulations.
