Also responsible for maintaining cleanliness, sanitation and sense of organization in kitchen and dumpster areas.**QUALIFICATIONS*** High school diploma or equivalent education **RESPONSIBILITIES/DUTIES*** Maintain clean and sanitary conditions in employee changing room/restrooms, and back-of-the-house employee areas, as well as the elevator, dumpster and receiving area* Empty trash cans from dish room, kitchen and storeroom into appropriate refuge receptacles on a regular basis, ensuring correct supervision for recyclable items* Remove empty boxes from kitchen and storage areas on a regular basis to dumpster area* Keep equipment, floor, and work areas clean, free of slip, trip and fall hazards and in good working order at all times* Clean and sanitize all dishes, pots, pans and utensils in accordance to local guidelines, to ensure proper supply levels to operate Food & Beverage Department efficiently* Assist in the storing of grocery and supply items* Assume responsibility for proper set up and operation of the dish machine, three compartment sink, garbage disposer and chemical dispensing systems. Notify supervisor of any malfunctions* Assume responsibility for supplies for the dish machine and notify supervisor of any instances where there would no product on hand* Assist cooks and the Executive Chef in the preparation of food as needed* Set-up and break-down buffet tables and theme decorations which may include ice displays* Special projects or other duties as assigned**PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORKING ENVIRONMENT**While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand; walk; sit; kneel; use hands to handle or feel; and talk or hear. The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
