Distribution Processor The Shipping & Receiving Associate is responsible for accurately preparing, packaging, and processing outbound shipments and inbound materials to ensure efficient warehouse operations. This role handles daily tasks such as scanning products into the system, processing pallets and boxes, weighing and labeling items, and assembling shipments according to company standards. The associate will help break down inbound pallets, verify counts, and update the system to resolve discrepancies. They will also wrap pallets, apply proper labels and corner boards, and move finished goods to the correct dock doors. Key tasks and responsibilities include processing shipments via UPS and FedEx and loading products into trailers, systematically processing pallets through LIDS, scanning products into the system, weighing, measuring, and labeling products, processing boxes systematically through pack size and physically assembling packages, and ensuring labels left by distribution attendants are assigned to the correct pallet. The associate must also put corner boards on products when appropriate, move product to dock doors when appropriate, hit hour by hour productivity goals, maintain a clean and safe work environment, and ensure 5S is followed. Skills and minimum experience required include a high school diploma or GED, ability to follow all safety, health, and environmental guidelines, policies, rules, and training, basic math/reading comprehension aptitude, the ability to read and interpret a manifest, packing list, and complex shipping codes, basic computer skills, and the ability to work in a team environment. Travel requirements are 0%. The compensation is $19.11.
