Shift Details

Shift Type: Day 4x10-Hour

Hours: 07:00 - 17:30

Requirements

No locals within 100 miles
COVID Vaccine: Optional; reporting of COVID vaccine numbers is required
Certification Requirements: BLS, CST
On-call Requirements: Yes; may require call for eye trauma approximately 5 times a month
Experience: Minimum of 2 years in an outpatient setting, specifically in surgery
Specific Knowledge: Familiarity with surgical equipment, especially Centurion and Zeiss scopes for eye cases; robotics experience is required
Availability of First-timers: Yes
Floating: May be required to float within scope to meet facility needs
Restricted Time Off: Approval needed for RTO greater than 7 days; No RTO permitted during the first 7 days or the last day of the contract

Special Requirements

Experience in outpatient care, decontamination, crash cart management, and aseptic technique
Proficient in ambulating OR and various surgical procedures including:
- General Surgery
- Orthopedics
- Urology
- Endo/Laparoscopic
- GYN
- Plastics
- Podiatry
- ENT
- Robotics
Knowledge of fire safety, laser safety, and specimen handling
