About the Role
The Company is in search of a Head of Tax to join one of its portfolio businesses, a manufacturing and process automation firm. The successful candidate will be instrumental in leading the company through a transformative phase, with a focus on driving scale and being a strategic partner to the CFO. Key responsibilities for the Head of Tax include shaping internal control frameworks, preparing for complex transactions such as IPOs, and managing tax implications across a multi-entity, M&A-built platform. The role also involves owning transfer pricing, international tax positions, and cross-border structuring. The ideal candidate for this role at the company will be a passionate and committed leader with a strong background in manufacturing, particularly in the areas of heavy accounting and international tax. A minimum of 10-25 years' of progressive career success is expected, with a requirement for experience as a top tax leader in a manufacturing company of significant size or as a #2 tax leader in a larger manufacturing firm. The candidate should have a proven track record in public company and M&A environments, and be adept at analytics and operations. The role demands a leader with a contagious will to win, who can effectively manage the tax function and contribute to the overall growth and success of the business.
