Cath Lab Registered Nurse (RN)

We are seeking a skilled Cath Lab Registered Nurse to join our dynamic team. This position requires proficiency in cardiac catheterization procedures and a commitment to providing high-quality care to adult patients.

Shift Hours: 4x10s, from 7:30 AM to 6:00 PM, including on-call responsibilities.

Weekend Requirement: As per on-call schedule.

Holiday Requirement: Availability to work or take call on one holiday per 13-week contract.

Call Requirement: Expected to take 7 on-call shifts and 5 late shifts within a 6-week period.

Experience with Epic is required for this role.

Perform advanced cardiac procedures including left heart catheterization (LHC), right heart catheterization (RHC), percutaneous coronary interventions (PCI), and more.

Maintain sterile technique and perform EKG lead placement.

Monitor hemodynamics and recognize dysrhythmias to implement rapid response protocols.

Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)

BLS (Basic Life Support)

Experience in diagnostic and interventional cardiac cath lab settings.

Knowledge of isolation precautions and equipment handling.

Scrubbing experience with cardiac procedures.

The cath lab comprises 6 procedure rooms, serving a daily census of 15-20 patients. Common diagnoses include coronary artery disease, valve disorders, and heart failure.
