Software Engineer - Developer - Saint Louis

Salary: $126,650 - 217,350 per year Requirements:

• We require a bachelors degree or an equivalent level of education.
• We require an active U.S. Secret security clearance, with U.S. citizenship required for the clearance and export control rules.
• We are seeking someone with 5+ years of software engineering experience.
• We require 5+ years of hands-on C++ experience.
• We require at least 1+ year of MATLAB experience.
• We require at least 1+ year of experience with Agile software development practices.
• For the preferred Level 3 track, we look for a B.S. in engineering, engineering technology, chemistry, physics, mathematics, data science, or computer science plus 5+ years of related experience, or a bachelors degree plus 9+ years of directly related experience, or 13+ years of relevant experience.
• For the preferred Level 4 track, we look for a B.S. in engineering, engineering technology, chemistry, physics, mathematics, data science, or computer science plus 9+ years of related experience, or a bachelors degree plus 13+ years of directly related experience, or 17+ years of relevant experience.
• We prefer candidates with an active Top Secret clearance.
• Familiarity with physics-based modeling software packages is preferred.
• Background knowledge in flight dynamics, sensors, electromagnetics, weapon models, terrain models, or flight control is preferred.
• Familiarity with DevSecOps tools and practices, including version control, continuous integration, containers, and code analysis tools such as Git, GitLab, or CMake, is preferred.
• Experience working in both Linux and Windows environments is preferred.
• Real-time software development experience is preferred.
• Experience using MATLAB Coder is preferred.
• Experience with Java in a work or academic setting is preferred.
