About the Position

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Emergency Room Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: Minimum 2 years in Emergency Department required. License: Active nursing license required. Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIH required; CPI, PALS, TNCC preferred. Must-Have: EPIC experience required. Previous Charge RN and Level 2 Trauma experience preferred. Description: Candidates must be aware they are being submitted for this position. Candidates should have reviewed the job description thoroughly. Candidates must be flexible with scheduling. Candidates must be aware of a zero-tolerance policy for tardiness and unexcused absences. Candidates should confirm there are no barriers preventing them from completing compliance on time. Candidates should be aware of the Pass/Fail EKG exam required for all RNs. Position requires 3 shifts of 12 hours per week, with a night schedule from 7 PM to 7:30 AM. Candidates are required to work 2 weekend shifts or 4 weekend days every 6 weeks. Holidays may need to be covered as needed. No on-call shifts are required. The Emergency Department handles a wide variety of patient diagnoses. The daily census typically includes approximately 180 visits. There is interdisciplinary support from various medical teams. Special procedures include Stroke and Cardiac care. Emergency Department operates as a Level 2 Trauma Center.
