As an Access Control Officer at a residential location, you will help create a welcoming, secure environment by monitoring entry points, verifying access credentials, and assisting residents, visitors, and vendors. You will remain visible to help deter security-related incidents, document activity, and communicate professionally with the community. Position Type: Part Time Pay Rate: $21.00 / Hour Job Schedule: DayTimeFri02:00 PM - 10:00 PMSat02:00 PM - 10:00 PM What You'll Do: Provide customer service to residents, guests, vendors, and/or visitors while carrying out site-specific procedures, access-control policies, and emergency response activities. Monitor vehicle and pedestrian entry points, verify authorized access, and maintain accurate visitor, vendor, and delivery records in accordance with site procedures. Respond to incidents, resident concerns, unauthorized-access attempts, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner. Conduct regular and random patrols of residential common areas, entry gates, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns. Communicate observations, incidents, and access-control issues promptly to site management and/or Allied Universal leadership, completing required reports and documentation. Minimum Requirements: Speak, read, and write fluent Spanish. Access control and badge experience is preferred. Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
