Step into an impactful role serving high school students throughout the full academic year as a school psychologist on a contract, full-time basis. You will collaborate with educators, families, and support teams to address the diverse needs of students, fostering academic, social, and emotional growth. The daily schedule is from 8:35 AM to 3:35 PM, allowing for a balanced workday immersed in the school environment.

Qualifications & Preferred Experience:

• Current certification or license as a school psychologist
• Experience with high school student populations preferred
• Strong understanding of special education services and state/federal guidelines
• Excellent skills in evaluation, data interpretation, and intervention planning
• Ability to facilitate effective communication between staff, students, and families
• Organizational skills and attention to detail
• Comfortable working collaboratively within a multi-disciplinary team

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive assessments (cognitive, academic, behavioral, emotional) for high school students
• Develop, implement, and monitor individualized education plans (IEPs)
• Provide direct counseling services and crisis intervention as needed
• Support students’ academic progress and emotional well-being
• Participate in meetings with educators and families to discuss evaluations, strategies, and recommendations
• Offer consultation to staff on classroom interventions, behavioral support, and programming
• Maintain accurate documentation in accordance with school policies and legal requirements
