Make an impact supporting students across all grade levels as a school psychologist with a welcoming, K-12 district near Lockport, NY. This full-time, permanent position involves providing comprehensive psychological services to students within the district, making a meaningful difference in their educational and personal development.
Qualifications/Desired Experience:
- Master's or Specialist-level degree in School Psychology from an accredited program
- Valid or eligible for School Psychologist certification as required by New York State
- Experience working with K-12 students in a school setting preferred
- Strong skills in assessment, counseling, and consultation
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
- Ability to work effectively across diverse populations and multidisciplinary teams
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct psychological services to students, including assessments, individual and group counseling, and crisis intervention
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to support student learning and wellness
- Participate in the development and implementation of Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and 504 Plans
- Conduct psychoeducational evaluations and interpret results for students across all grade levels
- Assist with the creation of intervention strategies to address academic and behavioral needs
- Facilitate social-emotional learning initiatives and preventative programming
- Contribute to a positive school climate and promote student success
