Director of Sales - New England Nashua, NH, US 19 days ago Requisition ID: 1351 Position Summary The Director of Sales - New England is responsible for driving revenue growth across New England, New York, and New Jersey through strategic sales leadership, team development, and market expansion. This role leads a team of Account Executives, develops sales strategies, and builds strong partnerships across vendors, consultants, and contractors to position the organization as a leader in AV/IT solutions. This leader will focus on expanding business across Enterprise, Education, and State & Local Government verticals while ensuring strong pipeline management, accurate forecasting, and consistent achievement of revenue and profitability targets. The ideal candidate is a results-driven sales leader with strong business acumen, proven experience building high-performing teams, and the ability to adapt to a dynamic and evolving market. Skills & Core Strengths Sales leadership and team development Strategic planning and revenue growth execution Pipeline management and forecasting accuracy Business development and market expansion Client relationship management and executive presence Coaching, mentoring, and performance management Cross-functional collaboration (Sales, Operations, Marketing) Strong negotiation and closing capabilities Adaptability in a fast-paced, evolving environment Decision-making and problem-solving Communication and presentation skills What You’ll Do Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing regional sales team aligned to revenue goals Recruit, hire, and retain top sales talent while improving performance across the team Drive account planning strategies to grow existing clients and acquire new business Provide in-field support, including client meetings, presentations, and deal closing Develop and execute regional sales strategies to achieve revenue and margin targets Manage sales pipeline, forecasting, and reporting through CRM (Salesforce) Establish and monitor individual sales targets, KPIs, and performance metrics Partner with Operations, Marketing, and Leadership to drive aligned business outcomes Participate in business development activities, including industry events and organizations Support development and execution of marketing campaigns and customer engagement efforts Maintain strong knowledge of AV/IT solutions, services, and industry trends Ensure team compliance with training, certifications, safety standards, and company policies Foster a culture aligned with company core values and performance expectations Required Qualifications Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in AV/IT, Business, or related field 10+ years of sales experience, including 5+ years in sales leadership within AV or IT industry Proven track record of driving revenue growth and managing high-performing sales teams Strong business acumen with experience managing pipeline, forecasting, and profitability Experience hiring, coaching, and developing diverse sales teams (inside and outside sales) Proficiency with CRM systems (Salesforce preferred) and Microsoft Office Suite Excellent communication, presentation, negotiation, and influencing skills Strong organizational and leadership capabilities Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment Willingness to travel, including occasional overnight travel Preferred Qualifications Experience in AV/IT integration or related technology solutions industry Strong network within Enterprise, Education, or Public Sector markets Experience selling both systems and services (managed services, support contracts, etc.) About Us: Avidex is a leader in the audiovisual (AV) and information technology (IT) integration industry, delivering innovative solutions to a wide range of clients.
