SQL DATABASE ADMINISTRATOR

SQL Database AdministratorEOA Technologies is seeking a SQL Database Administrator on one of our subcontracts. This is a full-time position offering the opportunity to support a U.S. Government customer. You will be responsible for managing, maintaining, and optimizing SQL Server databases to ensure data integrity, security, and availability.Responsibilities:Database Management: Install, configure, and maintain SQL Server databases, ensuring optimal performance and security.Performance Monitoring: Monitor database performance using tools like SQL Server Management Studio (SSMS) and optimize queries, indexes, and server configurations to resolve performance issues.Backup and Recovery: Schedule and perform regular database backups, test and validate backup and restore procedures to ensure data recoverability.User Access Management: Manage user access and permissions, implementing and enforcing security policies to protect sensitive data.Collaboration: Work closely with developers and system administrators to design and implement databases, manage schema changes, and support business-critical applications.Documentation: Maintain documentation for database configurations, procedures, and processes, ensuring it is up-to-date.Disaster Recovery Planning: Plan and test disaster recovery procedures to ensure business continuity in case of data loss.Requirements:Possess an active TS/SCI with Polygraph security clearanceIAT Level 2 CertificationTen (10) years' experience in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity is required.Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline from an accredited college or university is required.
