What You’ll Do Conduct quality inspections during the installation process to ensure work meets plans and specifications Perform final inspections as requested by customers to ensure compliance with construction standards Identify issues and report them to relevant team members for resolution Record and follow up on non‑compliance issues until they are resolved Ensure all required testing is completed as specified and document the results Follow installation milestones and support project activities as directed by management Work overtime, travel, and handle on‑call or after‑hours responsibilities as needed, and perform duties in all weather conditions Other duties as assigned. What You’ll Need To be 18 years of age or older Authorization to work in the United States for this company Valid State driver's license (cannot be Provisional), including an acceptable driving record Must be able to pass a background check and company drug screening. Must be able to attend and pass all company required training as neede. May be required to work over‑time; after hours; on weekends or be on‑call as work is needed to ensure work is completed. May include working nights and holidays as needed. Additional Qualifications You have have 1-3 year's minimum experience within the Underground Utility Construction Industry but will train right applicant You are a problem solver Computer Skills You have the willingness to work in a solo and team environment You have experience in working through all types of weather, including inclement weather You are a self starter You have effective communication skills. The noise level in the work environment for this position may be moderate. Employees performing functions of this position are routinely exposed to outside weather conditions which can include but is not limited to: extreme heat and cold temperatures; inclement weather such as rain, snow, sleet and dust as well as adverse driving conditions including wet roads, icy roads, and fog. Employees performing these job functions are required to lift or move up to 10 pounds and frequently lift or move up to 50 pounds. Employees in this job classification may be exposed to dust, fumes or other airborne pathogens. Employees may be exposed to toxic or corrosive chemicals as well as moving machinery parts and pieces. Specific vision abilities required to perform this job include but are not limited to: close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus potentially near and/or far as needed Pauley Construction, LLC; as well as the position of Technician I Quality Control Field, are safety sensitive. Pay Range: The hourly range for the Technician I Quality Control Field position is $18.00 - $26.00, depending on experience.
