• Monday-Friday 10-hour shifts with night call
• 20-30 patients per shift
• Outpatient clinic and inpatient consults
• ERCP, EUS, colonoscopy, upper endoscopy required
• Beeper call with 30-minute response time
• Average 2+ callbacks per week
• GI lab procedures following scheduled colonoscopies
• Light call through emergency department for GI bleeds
• We negotiate better pay and deposit it weekly
