Work Environment

This position is based onsite in our outpatient office located in the beautiful city of North Miami Beach, Florida. Our modern facility is equipped with state-of-the-art rehabilitation equipment and dedicated treatment areas designed to enhance the recovery experience for both patients and therapists. The clinic operates Monday to Friday from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, providing structured yet flexible scheduling that may adapt to the specific needs of our patients.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver individualized therapeutic interventions as per established treatment plans, focusing on enhancing patient mobility, strength, and overall functionality.
• Guide patients through therapeutic exercises, stretches, and activities to promote physical well-being while managing pain effectively.
• Educate patients and their families on rehabilitation techniques, body mechanics, and personalized home exercise programs to ensure ongoing recovery outside clinical settings.
• Administer modalities, including electrical stimulation, ultrasound, and heat/cold therapy, under the direction of the supervising Physical Therapist.
• Monitor and document patient progress through objective metrics, including tracking range of motion, strength gains, and functional improvements, adjusting treatment plans as necessary.
• Prepare treatment areas efficiently, ensuring that all necessary equipment and supplies are organized and accessible during therapy sessions.
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team—including Occupational Therapists and Speech-Language Pathologists—to ensure comprehensive patient care and maximum treatment outcomes.
• Provide emotional support to patients, fostering a positive and encouraging atmosphere that motivates them throughout their rehabilitation journey.
• Adhere to professional ethical standards, maintaining patient confidentiality while respecting their rights and privacy.

Patient Population / Client Focus

As a Physical Therapist at CareNow Cardio, you will work closely with a diverse client base that includes individuals recovering from surgeries, athletes rehabilitating from sports-related injuries, elderly patients facing age-related challenges, and children undergoing pediatric rehabilitation. Each patient presents unique needs, allowing you to apply your expertise in various therapeutic modalities while collaborating with other professionals to deliver optimum care.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.
• A valid state license or certification to practice as a Physical Therapist in Florida.
• Solid understanding of anatomy, physiology, and various therapeutic interventions pertinent to physical therapy.
• Proficient interpersonal and communication skills to effectively interact with patients, families, and team members.
• Dedication to ongoing professional development and staying current with industry best practices and advancements.

Preferred Experience

• At least one year of hands-on experience in a similar outpatient physical therapy setting.
• Experience working with a specialized patient population related to orthopedic, neurological, or geriatric rehabilitation.

Compensation and Benefits
