Work Environment

This position will take place in our state-of-the-art outpatient office designed to facilitate optimal patient care. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive examinations and evaluations of patients experiencing functional limitations and disabilities, crafting tailored treatment plans based on individual patient needs.
• Stay informed on state practice acts, ensuring adherence to the appropriate regulations governing physical therapy practice throughout all patient interactions and treatment plans.
• Carry out evaluative services involving thorough historical review, specific assessments, and subsequent recommendations while meticulously documenting results for continuity of care.
• Implement treatment protocols founded on evaluation findings and patient presentations, adjusting interventions as necessary based on each patient's progress and changes in their condition.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, consulting with them as needed and taking proactive measures to modify treatment plans when required, ensuring holistic patient care.
• Oversee discharge planning and initiate follow-up care, documenting all patient care activities accurately and timely, from the initial evaluation to the ultimate discharge evaluation.
• Ensure compliance with all corporate and clinical service training requirements, maintaining integrity in practice and aligning with local, state, and federal regulations.
• Deliver effective patient treatments on a daily basis while maximizing departmental efficiency and maintaining high-quality patient care standards.
• Participate actively in team meetings, in-services, and professional development opportunities, fostering an environment of continuous learning.
• Engage in initiatives aimed at removing barriers to patient access, utilizing data-driven approaches to enhance service delivery and patient outcomes.

Patient Population / Client Focus

In this role, you will primarily serve a diverse outpatient clientele, including individuals dealing with orthopedic challenges, post-surgical rehabilitation, sports injuries, and chronic pain management. Your efforts will directly contribute to their recovery journeys, emphasizing mobility restoration and pain relief through individualized physical therapy interventions.

Qualifications

• Doctorate of Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited physical therapy program required.
• A valid state license to practice as a Physical Therapist is essential.
• A minimum of 2 years of experience in orthopedic physical therapy or closely related fields.
• Current CPR certification is required to ensure safety during patient care.
• Demonstrated interpersonal skills, with an ability to quickly establish rapport with patients and their families, enhancing the therapeutic experience.

Preferred Experience

• Experience with previous roles that involved personal training or digital applications/deployment of therapeutic solutions will be highly regarded.

Compensation and Benefits
