As Assistant Director of Nursing, you will assist the DON run day-to-day clinical operations while making sure care quality, compliance, and staffing all stay on track.If you're looking for a workplace with a supportive team, appreciative residents, and opportunities to grow your career, Lincoln County Care Center may be the right fit for you. What you'll do:Supervise RNs, LPNs, and CNAs. Assist with hiring, onboarding, and training. Provide coaching, performance management, and discipline.Oversee daily nursing care delivery across all units. Ensure care plans are implemented and updated appropriately. Monitor residents for changes in condition. Ensure accurate and timely clinical documentation. Address and resolve clinical issues such as falls, wounds, and infections.Help manage staffing schedules and coverage.Responsible to assign ICD-10 CM diagnosis codes to the residents' medical conditionsAccountable for case management of Medicare Part A and insurance case managementExpertly assess nursing home residents' needs, and coordinating personalized, resident-driven care based on those assessmentsOversee the patient assessment process, setting assessment schedules and assuring that assessments are done in an accurate and timely mannerMake Recommendations and transmit assessments to the Dept. of Health. Review the results to make policy and procedural recommendations to the management staffCoordinate patient care plan in accordance with regulatory requirements. Ensure that appropriate facility resources are made available to patients and that patient care is delivered effectivelyCreate the schedule for all Medicare and Medicaid including:Start Medicare coverage for newly qualified patients and/or send out denial lettersKeep updated on regulatory changes in Medicare coverage and help determine documents needed for Medicaid reimbursement.What we offer:Competitive hourly pay based on experience 401(k) with company match Medical, dental, vision, and life insurance options Generous paid time off (PTO) Up to $500 per month in nursing school tuition reimbursement What we're looking for:Must be a Registered Nurse in good standing and currently licensed in (State)Minimum one year of successful nursing experience in a skilled nursing/long-term care facilityMDS knowledgeGenuine love & concern for the geriatric population!Extraordinary attention-to-detail, capable of directing other people and managing schedulesExcellent communication skills, expert at working cooperatively as a member of teamFlexible and decisive, responding quickly in high-pressure situations and completing work in a timely, accurate mannerSolid basic computer skillsWhy us:Our nurses care for a geriatric population that depends on consistent, knowledgeable, and compassionate care.
