About The Role

We seek a skilled Backend Engineer to join our R&D office in Tel Aviv, working in a hybrid and flexible model.
You’ll collaborate with a top-tier R&D team and take your professional growth to the next level. Our backend teams work mainly with Python and Go, but we welcome talented backend engineers from any language background.

We are looking for a strong, independent engineer with a “big picture” mindset who can take ownership, drive solutions end-to-end, and effectively communicate with other teams.

Example Projects

• Build new integrations with emerging Ad Networks, including designing ingestion flows, authentication logic, and data normalization mapping.

• Develop and maintain complex third-party integrations and APIs.

• Optimize data flows to improve reliability and performance across systems.

• Develop data-quality services that automatically detect anomalies, missing fields, or partner inconsistencies.

• Create a unified monitoring dashboard for partner integrations, combining metrics, error rates, and SLA enforcement.

• Improve resiliency by adding retry logic, dead-letter queues, and idempotency handling for large-scale event processing.

Key Responsibilities

• Build and maintain backend services responsible for integrating with a wide variety of APIs, webhooks, and partners.

• Design, develop, and own integration flows end-to-end: architecture, implementation, deployment, and monitoring.

• Work on data pipelines handling large volumes of streaming and batch data with high reliability and low latency.

• Ensure data accuracy and consistency across ingestion, transformation, and storage layers.

• Collaborate with product, data engineering, and customer-facing teams to understand edge cases, resolve production issues, and improve partner integrations.

• Take ownership of features and systems while proactively identifying gaps and driving improvements.

• Integrate and leverage industry technologies such as Kafka, Iceberg, DynamoDB, Postgres, EMR, Kubernetes, Druid, Snowflake, and more.

What You Bring

• 2+ years of hands-on experience in backend development.

• Strong proficiency in Python, Go, or similar backend languages.

• Hands-on experience with REST APIs and third-party API integrations.

• Experience with SQL/NoSQL databases and structured/unstructured data handling.

• Strong debugging skills, ability to work with data and systems, and curiosity to dive deep into complex issues.

• Independent, proactive mindset with ability to “see the big picture” and drive tasks forward with minimal supervision.

• Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate across teams in a fast-paced environment.
  

Bonus points for:

• Experience with AdTech/MarTech , attribution, or data analytics systems.

• Knowledge of ETL/ELT orchestration tools or event-driven architectures.

• Experience with Big Data or High Scale pipelines/ Projects.
