Supplier Development Engineer Co-Op

Johnson & Johnson seeks a Supplier Development Engineer Co-op for their Danvers facility to support supplier engineering initiatives. The role involves working on manufacturing defect reduction, new supplier qualification, quality improvement programs, and supply chain optimization within a healthcare innovation environment.
Responsibilities
- Support standardization of manufacturing defect characterization and identification at incoming inspection
- Assist with product development projects and new supplier requirement coordination
- Participate in Quality at the Source program to improve supplier yields and quality inspections
- Lead defect analysis and work with vendors on corrective actions
- Support continuous improvement initiatives and supplier process validation activities
Requirements
- Currently pursuing Master's or Undergraduate (Junior/Senior) degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, or Supply Chain
- Understanding of manufacturing processes, supplier management, and planning
- Knowledge of lean, six sigma, kaizen, and continuous improvement methodologies desired
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
- Ability to communicate clearly and work independently without direct supervision
- Permanent U.S. work authorization; no visa sponsorship available
Compensation: $23.50/hr to $52.50/hr based on program year, discipline, degree, and experience
