Requirements Experience with legacy scripting in Server/Data Center (e.g., Groovy/ScriptRunner, Power Scripts/SIL) Familiarity with Jira Expressions for dynamic conditions and validation logic Working knowledge of SQL Familiarity with modern deployment practices (CI/CD, Git) Strong understanding of Data Processing and ETL Process Experience with Agile or Scrum Strong problem‑solving and critical‑thinking abilities Ability to work in a fast‑paced and dynamic environment Experience managing technical projects in BFSI or Talent environments (preferred) Cultural Fit Self‑starter; highly proactive with passion for innovation Exceptional communication skills; able to translate complex business needs into technical specifications Delivery focus; proven track record of delivering stable, quality Jira customizations at enterprise scale Job Responsibilities Forge Application Development & Architecture: Design, develop and maintain robust, scalable, secure Jira Cloud applications using the Atlassian Forge framework. Architect and implement native Forge modules, including Custom UI/React components, Global Pages, Contextual Gadgets/Panels, Custom Fields and advanced Workflow Validators/Post‑Functions. Utilize Forge platform primitives – Storage, Custom Fetch, Web Triggers, Resolvers, Queues, Event‑Driven Functions – for complex asynchronous business logic. Apply best‑practice secure coding standards and scalable API design principles. Integration & Platform Expertise: Integrate Jira Cloud with external SaaS platforms and internal services via REST APIs and Forge. Develop custom business logic, validation rules, workflow extensions. Provide advanced technical support and performance tuning for custom Jira Cloud applications. Collaborate closely with Product Owners, Business Analysts, and cross‑functional teams to gather requirements and define technical solutions. Document technical designs, deployment procedures, and testing plans. Compensation GlobalLogic estimates the starting pay range for this role to be performed in either Overland Park, KS or Frisco, TX is $105,000 to $115,000 and reflects base salary only. The amount offered may be higher or lower based on factors such as qualifications, experience, operational needs, and strategic considerations.
