Registered Nurse School Setting - Merrimack, NH

This role covers a leave of absence and will run through the Christmas Break, working weekdays from 7:15 AM to 2:45 PM.


Qualifications and Experience:

• Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in New Hampshire
• Previous experience as a school nurse, especially within elementary schools, is strongly preferred
• Current CPR and First Aid certification
• Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills
• Ability to remain calm and make sound decisions during emergencies
• Experience with student health documentation and familiarity with school health regulations

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide direct care for student medical needs, including medication administration and first aid
• Assess and respond to illnesses and injuries during the school day
• Maintain accurate student health records and collaborate with school staff on health plans
• Communicate effectively with parents, students, and faculty regarding student health needs
• Support health education and promote wellness initiatives within the school community
