Technology Services Specialist Anticipated Salary Range: $40,000-$57,000 Salary Commensurate with Qualifications and Experience The State Corporation Commission seeks a Technology Services Specialist to join the Bureau of Financial Institutions (BFI), whose primary charge is to protect the public interest in Virginia by maintaining a safe, sound, and competitive financial services environment. Reporting to the Information Services Manager, the Technology Services Specialist supports the technology needs of more than 85 BFI employees, playing a critical role ensuring effective and secure operations. This full-time position offers a hybrid work schedule, as well as training and professional development opportunities. Essential Duties & Responsibilities Administer and support user access for SCC secure file-sharing services and federal regulatory systems Collaborate with section management to assess and fulfill hardware and software requirements in support of workload demands Serve as the BFIs IT System Coordinator and primary point of contact, follow up on IT support requests, and participate in testing and evaluating new technologies Assist staff with inquiries regarding data classification and information security in accordance with SCC IT and Information Security policies Serve as the BFI content manager for updates to the SCC website content management system Assist in IT asset tracking, procurement, and equipment distribution Perform related work as required #J-18808-Ljbffr
