Position will create and maintain supplier and vendor relationships, manage inventory, analyze market trends, support product development, increase product diversity, and much more. Responsibilities:

• Developing merchandise strategies
• Build and maintain supplier relationships
• Manage all purchasing initiatives
• Execute effective and efficient product negotiations
• Creatively organize and enhance merchandise assortments
• Oversee purchasing from strategy to delivery
• Analyze market trends and customer feedback
• Utilize sales data to develop merchandise display strategies
• Follow and analyze industry trends
• Collaborate with marketing team to create successful product promotions
• Manage all supplier and vendor relationships and negotiations
• Ensure all product inventory is stocked and up to date
• Analyze competitor initiatives
• Secure new supplier relationships and negotiate profitable contracts
• Collect and interpret customer feedback to lead merchandise initiatives
• Communicate with inventory, marketing, and operations teams regularly

Desired Skills:

• Strong People Skills
• Ability to negotiate and drive sales
• Food and Beverage industry experience is a plus

Must Have:

• 3+ years in purchasing and merchandising -Food and Beverage preferred
• BA or BS
• Experience with buying in retail industry preferred
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills
• Intermediate to Advanced in merchandising software and MSOffice
