Long Term Care Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA)

Location: Alaska

Assignment Duration: This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule: Variable shifts available: 4x12-hour (either Days or Nights), with a preference for coverage during major winter holidays.

Job Description: We are seeking a dedicated Long Term Care Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to provide high-quality patient care in a Long Term Care Facility. Candidates must have previous travel experience and fulfill all Alaska CNA license requirements.

Responsibilities:

• Assisting with activities of daily living (ADLs)
• Monitoring and recording vital signs
• Providing nutritional support and assistance with feeding
• Ensuring patient comfort and safety
• Maintaining cleanliness and hygiene in patient care
• Communicating changes in patient condition to the nursing staff

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

• Valid CNA license in another state and documentation of completion of a formal CNA training program
• Previous Long Term Care experience is required
• First time travelers are not accepted
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
