The Warehouse Supervisor ensures accurate, efficient, and safe material flow to support manufacturing production and electrical jobsite execution, while applying lean principles and supply chain techniques to continuously improve performance. This role is hands-on initially and is responsible for directly performing material handling and shipping/receiving activities until company growth supports adding dedicated staff for these functions.

In addition to supervising and improving warehouse operations, this role will initially personally execute core warehouse functions, including:

• Receiving incoming materials
• Inspecting and verifying shipments
• Putting away inventory
• Picking and kitting job and production materials
• Packing and shipping outgoing orders
• Loading/unloading trucks and material handling

As the company grows, this role will:

• Help define and justify additional warehouse roles (receiving, shipping, material handler)
• Transition from doer ? leader, delegating transactional work
• Maintain ownership of: Process design, Performance metrics (EOS scorecard), Continuous improvement initiatives

Weekly Scorecard Metrics:

• Inventory Accuracy (Cycle Count): Target: ? 98.5%
• Picks/Order Accuracy: Target: ? 99%
• On-Time Job/Production Material Availability: Target: ? 98%
• Backorders / Stockouts: Target: ? 2% of SKUs
• Warehouse Labor Productivity: Target: ? 90% of plan
• Safety Incidents: Target: 0
• Receiving Put-Away Time: Target: ? 24 hours

Lean & Supply Chain Expectations:

• Actively apply lean thinking to eliminate waste and improve efficiency
• Use data-driven decision-making to improve inventory and flow
• Understand and influence key supply chain drivers: Demand variability, Lead times, Supplier reliability
• Drive continuous improvement, not just maintain operations

Quarterly Rocks:

• Implement 5S across entire warehouse
• Reduce picking travel time by 25%
• Improve inventory turns and reduce excess stock
• Introduce min/max or Kanban system for key items
• Reduce stockouts by improving demand planning coordination

What You Bring (Required Experience)

• 3-7+ years in warehouse or logistics operations
• 1-3+ years in a supervisory or lead role
• Experience in a structured warehouse environment (inventory tracking required)

Bonus Points For (Preferred Experience)

• Experience supporting both production and field operations
• Exposure to lean initiatives or process improvement projects
• Experience in a $10M-50M+ company (scale/complexity alignment)
• ERP/WMS system implementation or optimization experience
