Field Service Coordinator

Job Overview: The Field Service Coordinator is responsible for supporting Progressive Surface's installed equipment base by managing customer service inquiries, warranty requests, and service activities through the company's service ticket system. This position coordinates field service activities including repairs, warranty work, preventative maintenance, and calibration services, while providing technical support to field service technicians at customer locations. The role serves as a key liaison between customers, service personnel, and internal departments to ensure timely resolution of service issues and a high level of customer satisfaction. And other duties as assigned by manager.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supports installed machine base with customer service and warranty requests via our service ticket system
• Quotes and coordinates field maintenance service (repairs, warranty, calibration) activities
• Provides and coordinates technical support for field service technicians while at customer sites.
• Occasional travel may be required.
• Service Call Center rotation duty.

Experience:

• 2+ years of experience in service coordination, scheduling, or customer support within a manufacturing or technical service environment.
• Understanding mechanical and electrical maintenance practices common in manufacturing environments.

Skills:

• Excellent organizational, communication, written and verbal communication skills and multitasking abilities.
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage shifting priorities.
• Ability to interpret basic mechanical or electrical job documentation.

Other Requirements:

• Ability to work effectively and independently under time constraints and manage competing priorities.
• Familiarity with OSHA and general safety requirements for industrial worksites.
• Must be able to read and understand blueprints and electrical diagrams.
