Job Responsibilities

• Perform thorough patient assessments, including physical exams and review of medical histories
• Assist in evaluating and diagnosing surgical conditions through imaging studies and lab exam interpretations
• Work alongside surgeons in crafting and executing tailored surgical treatment plans
• Support intraoperative activities, ensuring sterile environments and aiding in instrument transfers during surgery
• Provide quality pre- and post-surgical care, including administering medications, managing wounds, planning discharges, and educating patients

Qualifications

• Master's degree from an accredited Physician Assistant program
• Preference given for candidates with surgical-focused clinical rotations

Certifications Required

• Possession of current and unrestricted PA-C certification
• Certification in BLS and ACLS is essential
• Active state licensure (or eligibility) as a Physician Assistant
