Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Process Technician to perform preventative maintenance on presses and set up machine and process operations for Liquid Silicone Rubber (LSR) molding. The ideal candidate will troubleshoot LSR flash and trapped air part defects, modify injection speeds and mold cavity adjustments, and utilize controls for machine adjustment.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance on presses.
• Set up machines and processes for LSR molding operations.
• Troubleshoot LSR flash and trapped air part defects.
• Modify injection speeds, volume settings, and mold cavity adjustments.
• Utilize controls for machine adjustment.
• Set molds according to the production schedule.
• Perform process set up and modification for part defects.
• Provide responsive support to the manufacturing operation.
• Maintain and communicate general knowledge of material properties and LSR molding techniques across departments.
• Assist in identifying new processes for cost reductions, quality improvements, and statistically capable processes.
• Ensure thorough and manufacture-ready completion of all mold changes.
• Ensure documentation is properly approved, correct, concise, and understandable.
• Provide technical support to manufacturing, automation, and maintenance.
• Participate in continuous improvement efforts, corrective actions, and root-cause investigations.

Essential Skills

• Experience with Engel machines, mold setting, and LSR injection molding preferred
• Proficiency in troubleshooting machines and mold maintenance.
• Ability to perform mold setting and modifications.

Job Type & Location

This is a Permanent position based out of Twinsburg, OH.

The pay range for this position is $52000.00 - $58240.00/yr.
