As a Front Desk Security Professional at a manufacturing and industrial location, you will serve as a welcoming, professional presence while supporting access control, visitor management, and security-related communications. Position Type: Part Time Pay Rate: $18.54 / Hour Job Schedule: Mon 08:00 AM - 04:30 PM Tue 08:00 AM - 04:30 PM What You'll Do: Provide customer service to employees, visitors, vendors, and/or contractors at the front desk of a manufacturing and industrial location while carrying out site-specific security-related procedures and policies. Monitor access to the facility by greeting visitors, verifying credentials, issuing visitor passes, and directing guests according to site requirements. Maintain accurate visitor, vendor, delivery, and/or contractor logs; communicate arrivals and access requests to appropriate site contacts. Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established emergency response procedures. Monitor front-desk communications, receive incoming calls, and report unusual activity or security-related concerns to site leadership and/or Allied Universal supervision. Minimum Requirements: Customer service experience is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
