Pastry Prep Cook

Spoon and Stable, Gavin Kaysen's flagship restaurant in the North Loop area of Downtown Minneapolis, is looking for a Daytime Pastry Prep Cook to support our pastry team in delivering exceptional quality and consistency.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare doughs, batters, fillings, sauces, and components to exact specifications in a timely manner.
• Efficiently complete daily prep lists and maintain station organization.
• Properly label, date, and store all products to minimize waste and ensure freshness.
• Follow recipes and production guidelines accurately.
• Support service setup and maintain close communication with the Chef Manager on Duty (MOD).
• Uphold rigorous standards of cleanliness, food safety, and hygiene.

What We’re Looking For

• Strong attention to detail and ability to stay focused while multitasking.

• Morning & weekend availability
• Conversational English vocabulary
• Ability to stand on your feet for up to 10-12 hours and lift/carry up to 50 pounds
• Must have a reliable smartphone capable of running the Opsi app to access daily prep lists and recipes

• Paid Time Off (PTO), in accordance with Minnesota's Earned Sick and Safe Time law, is accrued at a rate of 1 hour per 30 hours worked and is available for use as soon as it is accrued.
