Details Clinic-based OB/GYN role supporting maternity and gynecological care Day shift schedule, 5x8 hours from 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM 13-week assignment Duties include phone triage, responding to patient inquiries via Epic and voice message, and other clinic responsibilities Weekends not required No call requirements Uses Epic EMR system Requirements Active WA or Compact RN license required within 2 weeks of start (pending applications accepted) BLS certification required C-EFM certification preferred Minimum 1 year of experience preferred; L&D experience accepted in lieu of OBGYN clinic experience Epic EMR experience required Knowledge of obstetric emergencies including placenta previa, ectopic pregnancy, and pregnancy-induced hypertension (gestational hypertension and preeclampsia) Skilled in telephone triage, pelvic exams, and use of external fetal heart monitoring (EFM) Experience with women's health conditions such as pelvic inflammatory disease, vaginal bleeding, and spontaneous abortion preferred Two supervisory references covering 1 year of employment within the last 3 years required Additional Information Responsibilities include triaging obstetric emergencies over the phone, responding to patient messages, medication refills, and scheduling appointments May be required to float between sister facilities within the local area First-time travelers are accepted for this position Local candidates accepted, with a 50-mile radius rule for local rate eligibility Former permanent staff must wait at least 3 months before returning as a travel candidate and must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility Candidates must disclose any prior work history with Providence facilities, including permanent, travel, or per-diem roles Expected to commit to working 3 of the 5 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day) All requested time off must be submitted at the time of application American Traveler Job ID P-739438.
